You know, I get really irritated with drug companies. it irks the living shit out of me that all these drugs that people need, mostly older people, cost so much that folks can't afford them, then the government says oh we will lower the prices by letting you pay for a discount card then the drug companies raise the prices..no help at all!!! What I don't understand is why no one sees the forest for the trees. if you want to lower drug costs, then don't allow the drug companies to advertise. there were several ads during the super bowl for new "erectile dysfunction" drugs. The super bowl is notoriously the absolute most expensive time to advertise. how may millions did those companies spend telling us to go to the doctor immediately if an erection lasts for more than four hours? it also irks me that they give out all the pens, calendars, cups, mugs t-shirts, and trips to barbados that they do. someone has to pay for that! so stop doing that and you will not have to force old people to pay for it. why doesn't anyone else see this? they probably do, just ignore it. I just get cracked up when I see that ad on tv about drug research. Basically it is a pharmaceutical company telling all of us dumb americans that the reason they charge so much is to pay for drug research..well if you didn't pay millions of doallrs for this ad campaign to tell us all about spending millions of dollars on research, you would have millions more for research. All we like sheep have lined up to be fleeced.
